Recycle the oil in an airtight container
The best approach is to collect the oil in a suitable container (such as a storage container or a glass jar), then dispose of it with your regular waste once it has solidified.
Practical tip: Place absorbent paper at the bottom of the container before pouring in the oil; this will make it easier to dispose of. Absorb excess oil with a paper towel.
If the amount of oil is small, you can simply absorb it with absorbent paper or a coffee filter, then throw it in the trash.
