How to Make Homemade Gummy Candy
Are your children begging for candy all day long? Make them homemade gummy candy! Much healthier, they’re free of artificial colors and preservatives and much cheaper than store-bought ones. Plus, you can get the kids involved in the preparation.
Put the water in a medium-sized saucepan and heat it over low heat. Then add all the ingredients, reserving a little sugar.
Continue cooking for ten minutes, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. The goal is to prevent it from boiling.
After heating the mixture for ten minutes, divide it between one or two ice cube trays. If the trays are greased beforehand, even better.
Let them cool on a dry surface; there’s no need to refrigerate them. Then, coat the cubes in sugar, and the gummy candies are ready.
